South Valley's Marigold Parade 2018

Another spectacular day for Albuquerque's South Valley's Marigold Parade - a celebration rooted in the Dia de los Muertos traditions, but over its 26 years it has blended in the celebration of pride of self and place. Congratulations South Valley for another year of affirmation and reaffirmation.

March for Our Lives!

On March 24, 2018, 8,000 - 10,000 Albuquerqueans marched behind the youth of the city demanding gun law reform in the wake of the Valentine's Day school shooting in Florida that resulted in the murder of 17 high school students.  The crowd was alternately energized and solemn; joyful and angry; but always focused.
